Kisses

My parents loved to kiss each other. And yes, they did in front of us kids. When my Dad passed, we told my Mom we would have to give her extra kisses because we knew they loved to kiss each other. Of course, it was nothing like when he kissed her, but she accepted them anyway. Honestly, she seems to like getting them more so from the grandkids, though.

God’s words of love are like divine kisses upon our hearts. They will keep you in times of trouble and breathe a fresh bout of energy when you are weary. His words can make you come alive. You are the apple of His eye. You are His beloved! You are His one and only.

Feel His kisses upon your heart as you read the scriptures. Feel His kisses on your face. Give into His love for you, be transformed! Kisses are a sign of affection and love. He loves you so much! John 3:16 tells us that He loved us enough to send His only Son.

Read The Passion Translation of Song of Songs 5:16:

Most sweet are his kisses, even his whispers of love. He is delightful in every way and perfect from every viewpoint. If you ask me why I love him so, O brides-to-be, it’s because there is none like him to me. Everything about him fills me with holy desire! And now he is my beloved—my friend forever.[1]

There is none like our Lord!
